We first opened our doors in 1987, situated just 5 minutes from the town centre. Originally, as a specialist tyre fitting centre. Over the years becoming recognized as the South-West's leading Motorcycle Tyre Centre and increased our workshop ability to include all workshop services such as full manufacturer servicing, MOTs, maintenance, diagnostic and accident repairs with a large team of highly trained and fiercely proud mechanics.

We started as a family run and owned business with a passion for all things motorcycle, this passion is carried across in our standard of work. In 2018, with an infusion of new blood along with a dedicated and unparalleled focus on customer service through hitting the highest expectations, we are evolving into a multi-brand outlet, when in 2020 we moved into in a new purpose made showroom and workshop premises, we are delighted to offer a large range of flagship brands through Bike Treads Motorcycle Centre.

We are a professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, and unmatched motorcycle tyre fitting centre and proudly able to state 'Wiltshire's leading independent 2-wheel tyre & MOT test centre' with customers traveling from all over with our enviable reputation and proven expertise. We cater for all-model repairs and servicing with an insurance approved accident repair centre and a very well-equipped workshop. We will happily supply and fit a vast array or consumables and accessories held within our shop range or from our large range of contacts and suppliers.

We are now Swindon's largest learner-legal motorcycle and scooter dealer with the widest range of 50cc and 125cc motorcycles & scooters available to see locally. Back in early in 2018 we were pleased to announce two new ranges in store as officially appointed dealers for ROYAL ENFIELD and BENELLI making us a hotspot for retro, classic and modern riders. Now in 2021 we have welcomed the addition of SUZUKI motorcycles to our showroom.

We have a comfortable seating area, Coffee machine and cold-water dispenser available free of charge along with a range of bike magazines and a free copy of motorcycle monthly available to each customer. You are welcome to sit in store and listen to the DAB radio or hang-out with your mates whilst we work on your bike and arrange that next group ride-out!
